UFC 132 pay-per-view main card set with Cruz-Faber, Silva-Leben, Siver-Wiman

The pay-per-view main card for July's UFC 132 event is set.

Headlining the July 2 show, which takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, is a bantamweight title fight between champion Dominick Cruz (17-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) and challenger (25-4 MMA, 1-0 UFC) Urijah Fader.

Also on the PPV card are middleweights Chris Leben (21-7 MMA, 11-6 UFC) vs. Wanderlei Silva (33-10-1 MMA, 3-5 UFC), lightweights Dennis Siver (18-7 MMA, 7-4 UFC) vs. Matt Wiman (13-5 MMA, 7-3 UFC), light heavyweights Ryan Bader (12-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) vs. Tito Ortiz (15-8-1 MMA, 14-8-1 UFC), and welterweights Carlos Condit (26-5 MMA, 3-1 UFC) vs. Dong Hyun Kim (14-0-1 MMA, 5-0 UFC).

Although not announced, additional fighters likely will air or stream as preliminary-card specials on Spike TV, ION Television and/or Facebook.

The main event features two now-bitter rivals.

"There is no love lost between Dominick Cruz and Urijah Faber, and they are both fired up to not only fight again, but to fight for the UFC bantamweight title," UFC President Dana White stated. "The bantamweight division is one of the most exciting weight classes in this sport, and Dominick and Urijah will both bring it for five rounds."

As MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) recently reported, Cruz said the rivalry began innocently enough with a poster snub and Cruz's autograph spot on it.

"In the beginning it had nothing to do with him at all," Cruz said. "In the very beginning, it had to do with the fact that I wasn't even on the event poster and I was fighting him for a world title. That really got under my skin.

"So, my way of getting on the poster was to sign where I signed (over Faber's picture), and it ended up pissing him off. Since then, he's been the one calling me out. He's done a million YouTube videos, went on like a media frenzy, and just done a bunch of YouTube videos running his mouth. After that, that's when everything started up. That's when I started talking because I'm not just going to let him keep running his mouth about me for no reason.

"Originally, it had nothing to do him, I felt like I deserved to be on that poster."
