Ryan Jensen released by UFC following loss to Jason MacDonald on April 30

Ryan Jensen has been released by the UFC ... again.
This time his dismissal was prompted by a first round submission loss to the returning Jason MacDonald at this past weekends UFC 129: "St. Pierre vs. Shields" event in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Jensen commented on his release on his Facebook page (via MMADieHards):
"Saw it Coming. Now its time to turn the page! I want to say thanks to Jackson's MMA and all the Coaches and Training Partners and to all the Friends/Family I have met along the way! Thanks for all the Support it was One Hell of A Ride!!! Back to Coaching and helping out at my Gym Premier Combat Center in Omaha!"
The Nebraska native exits the world's largest fight promotion having amassed a record of 2-6 in his eight Octagon appearances during two separate stints with the promotion.
If you're wondering why he was given such a long leash, it's likely because the 33 year-old has never had a fight he was involved in go to a decision, with all but three of his 23 career bouts ending in the first round.
