Programming alert: Rampage Jackson 'In the Moment' airs May 25 at 10pm ET on Spike TV

Take two. Quinton Jackson is living "In the Moment" ... not Frankie Edgar.
Spike TV was initially set to feature the current lightweight champion in the lead-up to his third fight against number one contender Gray Maynard. However, injuries to both parties forced a cancellation that pushed Jackson into the main event against Matt Hamill.
And so "Rampage" will be taking the spotlight in his own 30-minute special that will be "an all-access program featuring his training sessions, to his media appearances, to his everyday life at home. Viewers will get an inside look at Jackson’s life as he prepares to take the next step in reclaiming the UFC light heavyweight championship."
"Rampage" Jackson: "In the Moment" airs Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at 10 p.m. ET on Spike TV.
Thiago Silva was originally Jackson's partner for the Memorial Day weekend event; however once he ran into some trouble for a failed drug test, Matt Hamill stepped in to fill the void.

Jackson has been on a roller coaster (at least in the media) as of late. He accepted a fight against Silva for UFC 130 but an injury to Rashad Evans forced an opening at UFC 128 against Light Heavyweight Champion Mauricio Rua.
The UFC came calling asking if "Rampage" wanted the title shot. "Shogun" blew the lid off before Page explained he was simply too big to cut the necessary weight in time.
Then the news of Silva's issues with the Nevada State Athletic Commission brought word that he would need a new opponent and rumors were quick to fly that he would rematch Evans.
Nope.
Now he finally has an opponent in Hamill, who will bring a strong wrestling game that Jackson has struggled with at times in the past. Can the boxer make it a brawl and punch his way to a title shot?
Fight fans will get a first hand look at his preparations to judge for themselves if he can do just that.
