Matt Mitrione vs Christian Morecraft fight announced for UFC on Versus 4 on June 26

The UFC on Versus 4 fight card is rapidly filling up with compelling match-ups as another heavyweight mix up has been added to the evening's festivities.
Matt Mitrione will sling some heavy leather with husky handyman Christian Morecraft on June 26 at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, according to UFC.com.
Mitrione came to fame on the tenth installment of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) reality series as a bumbling former football player who possesses plenty of physical tools with a questionable mentality towards the sport of MMA.
He's done nothing but prove the world wrong since his time on the show, amassing a perfect 4-0 record while steadily improving each time out. For his next test, he'll get the chance to avenge a defeat suffered by his friend and sometime training partner Sean McCorkle just last month.
"Big Sexy" took an Octagon nap courtesy of Christian "World Of" Morecraft when the keyboard warrior failed to stick to the plan and went headlong into a guillotine in the second round.
Can Mitrione exact revenge? "Meathead" is ready to do this ... Leeeeeroooyy Jeeeeennkkkinnnns!
Star-divide
Morecraft comes riding into "Steel City" on the strength of the previously mentioned dispatching of Sean McCorkle. That marked the seventh time in as many the Washington, D.C. native has finished his opponent.
The 20-something Bombsquad product ran roughshod through regional circuits in Massachusetts before making his way to the big leagues of the UFC.
Despite a debut loss to "Skyscraper" Stefan Struve, Morecraft has shown plenty of promise as a 265-pound beast that is ready and willing to fire off at a moment's notice.
