Lost in the shuffle of the UFC's purchase of Strikeforce is yet another fight announcement for the Memorial Day Weekend event, as Norifumi Yamamoto will return to action against Chris Cariaso on May 28 at UFC 130 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The promotion announced the planned bout earlier today.
Yamamoto made his long-awaited debut in the Octagon back at UFC 126 in a losing effort against Demetrious Johnson. The speedy striker was felled by a faster and much better wrestler.
He won't have to worry about that as much in his second go-round, but he's drawn a tough opponent nonetheless. Will a loss send him packing?

Although the name Chris Cariaso may not be familiar to you (or maybe it is and forgive me for being presumptuous) but he's a five-year veteran of the sport who has competed under the Strikeforce, WEC and UFC umbrellas, respectively.
The well-traveled Muay Thai specialist has won five of his last six bouts, including his debut in with the promotion on Jan. 22. His exciting style mixed with the fast and powerful hands of "Kid" Yamamoto make for a fight that has fireworks written all over it.
After all, the bantamweights always bring the thunder, right Maniacs?
UFC 130 will be headlined by Frankie Edgar, as he tries to find "The Answer" for his own personal "Bully" in defense of his 155-pound title against number one contender, Gray Maynard.
Also featured on the card will be light heavyweight contenders Quinton Jackson and Matt Hamill squaring off, as well as a behemoth heavyweight tilt pitting former champion Frank Mir against "Big Country" Roy Nelson.
