... so it sounds like we have an accord?
"I don't know what to expect anymore with the UFC. I'm not on Dana's favorite, uh, fab five, so I don't know. It can go either way. But if it does happen that I get a title shot afterwards, then I have to think about whether I take it depending on who it is and decide on what I want to do. This is a sport and Jones has a pretty good chance of winning this fight and you know, I got him to win it. So if he wins the fight, then I gotta sit down with the team and decide what we do from there. Jones expressed last night in an interview that he would fight me for the title so... I guess if... I mean... I'm no punk, so..."If you listen closely, that faint laughter you hear is UFC President Dana White, overjoyed at the fact the Jon Jones vs. Rashad Evans conundrum may have solved itself. After listening to his teammate say in an interview that he would fight him if the chips were down, Evans has responded in kind on MMA Live, making sure to let the world know he ain't no punk and if that's what "Bones" wants then, well, he will oblige him. This is all conjecture of course, as Jones has yet to fight for the light heavyweight title, which he will do on March 19 against Mauricio Rua at UFC 128, and we're still unsure as to whether Evans is still the number one contender to that title. But at the very least, it sounds like a fight between the two is no longer out of the question
