Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante says it’s all about strategies ahead of showdown with Dan Henderson

Strikeforce light heavyweight champion, Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante has been giving his final thoughts in the build-up to tonight’s showdown with MMA legend, Dan Henderson in Columbus, Ohio, explaining this one is all about picking the right strategy and sticking to it.
Speaking via MMAWeekly.com, Cavalcante said:
“Against every fighter there’s a little bit of a strategy. It doesn’t really matter if I’m fighting for a title or I’m defending a title. It’s really about the fighter and every fighter has different strategies they are going to throw at you. Of course, my strategy will differ for this fight as opposed to when I fought King Mo.”
On what he’s picked up from his Black House team mates, Anderson Silva and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, Cavalcante said:
“We train together every day. I have asked them about their fights against Dan and asked them what they think I need to do. They have told me what they think will work and we have been working on those things.”
Cavalcante could have the edge heading into this one having worked with the likes of Silva and Nogueira to prepare himself for this one, giving him a unique insight into how to deal with the MMA legend. Can the Brazilian pull off another shock, this time in Columbus, Ohio, and retain his 205 pound title?
