Ever wonder what UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre looked like in his mixed martial arts debut at UCC 7: "Bad Boyz" way back in January 2002?
Wonder no more.
Integrated Sports Media (ISM) will feature six of St. Pierre's non-UFC fights (including his first five) in a pay-per-view (PPV) special titled Georges St. Pierre: "Rush To The Top" beginning April 1 on DirecTV and DISH Network.
In addition to Video On Demand (VOD), secondary airings will be available on Avail-TVN (April 11) and iN DEMAND (Apr. 12) for just $9.95.
From ISM President Doug Jacobs:
"We’re thrilled and privileged to bring this unique footage of St. Pierre, the No. 1 ranked welterweight in the world and reigning UFC champion in the 170-pound division, to MMA fans in the United States. This exciting six-fight package is where it all started for one of the greatest MMA fighters of all-time."
The following fights will be televised:
Ivan Menjivar -- UCC 7: "Bad Boyz" (1/25/2002)
Justin Bruckmann -- UCC 10: "Battle for the Belts" (6/15/2002)
Travis Galbraith -- UCC 11: "The Next Level" (10/11/2002)
