Carlos Condit confirms he’d fight his team mate Diego Sanchez if it was for something like the title

Former WEC welterweight champion, Carlos Condit has been weighing in on the issue of team mate vs. team mate in the mixed martial arts world, explaining he’d be prepared to go head-to-head with Diego Sanchez but only if it was for the title.
Speaking via MMAWeekly.com, Condit said:
“As far as teammates fighting each other, some different things arise like who’s going to train where for the fight? Are you guys still going to be at the same gym? Are you going to come in, in the morning? Is the other guy going to come in at night? It’s all something to be considered.”
“As far as fighting Diego, me and him are teammates and training partners. If it was a title fight, like a very, very big fight, we could put friendship and everything aside, and go scrap. But unless it’s something like that, we’d probably try to avoid it.”
Both Condit and Sanchez are moving in the right direction up the welterweight ranks and the UFC might decide to test their resolve when it comes to not fighting each other unless it’s for the title.
