Be like water my friend.
Or be like one of the thousands of moviegoers who will descend upon New York's lower Manhattan district to catch the premiere of the upcoming Anderson Silva documentary, one of six entries in this year's Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival.
"Like Water" premieres Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. ET at AMC Loews Village.
Directed by Pablo Croce and produced by Jared Freedman, the mixed martial arts documentary chronicles UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva's preparation and training for his UFC 112: "Silva vs. Sonnen" title fight that went down last August at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California.
From TribecaFilm.com:
"In the most brutal and often most misunderstood sport in the world, becoming a champion takes more than just blood, sweat, and tears. Like Water follows middleweight Ultimate Fighter Anderson Silva as he prepares to crown his four-year run as the unbeaten king of the sport with a record 12th straight win in the UFC. With intimate access to Silva and his intense training, the surprising and inspiring man behind one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time emerges."
Silva would endure four-and-a-half rounds of punishment to come back and submit challenger Chael Sonnen to retain his 185-pound title and keep his UFC unbeaten streak alive.
Tickets go on sale to American Express cardmembers beginning April 12 and to the general public on April 18. For  more information on the Tribeca Film Festival and the premiere of "Like Water" click here.
