Wanderlei Silva pulls himself from May 28th event due to health issues

It appears reports of the return of “The Axe Murderer” for UFC 130 on May 28^th may have been a little on the premature side after the Brazilian MMA legend ruled himself out of the card due to health issues.
Earlier this week the UFC announced a fight between Wanderlei Silva and Brian Stann for their forthcoming card in Las Vegas, although MMAFighting.com are now reporting that it was never signed and the Silva had informed the organization that he won’t be healthy enough to compete on the card.
It is thought Stann could still compete on the card against another opponent, although nothing is confirmed at this time. Wanderlei hasn’t been seen in action since he defeated Michael Bisping back at UFC 110 in February last year. It is unclear as to what health issues he has currently.
