Two of UFC's top rising stars will meet Saturday night (Feb. 5) when Jon Jones meets The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 8 winner Ryan Bader on the main card of UFC 126: "Silva vs. Belfort" from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
The fight is one of the three advertised bouts for the card, which is headlined by a UFC middleweight championship clash between Anderson Silva and Vitor Belfort.
The stakes are extremely high in this one, as the winner catapults himself right into the mix for Mauricio Rua's light-heavyweight title. For Jones, this is his chance to notch an impressive win against an undefeated fighter and show that he is indeed the real deal. For Bader, a win here also proves he has what it takes to compete with the top dogs in the division with two straight wins over highly-ranked opponents.
This fight could be a glimpse into the future of the UFC 205-pound division. Which fighter will be the one to take the next step? Will it be Jones, who only has one career blemish on his record? Or will it be Bader, the Arizona State wrestler with the big right hand?
Here is our preview of a fight between two top-10 light-heavyweights as the fifth-ranked Bader meets the seventh-ranked Jones on Saturday night, only on pay-per-view.
