UFC bantamweight contender, Demetrious Johnson looks set to return to the octagon on “The Ultimate Fighter” season thirteen finale card on June 4th in Las Vegas, Nevada, taking on dangerous Brazilian fighter, Renan Barao which is likely to go down on the main card of the evening.
Sources close to the situation revealed the news to Tatame Magazine earlier today, although the official bout agreements are currently unsigned by both parties.
Johnson made his octagon debut earlier this month on the UFC 126 card when he upset top rated Japanese star, Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto via unanimous decision. Prior to that he’d picked up wins over Nick Pace and Damacio Page whilst a part of the WEC.
Barao has been on an incredible run after losing his first professional MMA fight, winning twenty five straight bouts including submission wins over Chris Cariaso and Anthony Leone after joining the WEC.
