Former UFC veteran, Marcus Davis has seemingly found a new home with the ever expanding Canadian promotion, Maximum Fighting Championship after it was announced he’d signed a multi-fight contract with the earlier today.
MFC President, Mark Pavelich made the announcement on the HDNet telecast of MFC 28 earlier tonight, although details on the deal itself remain sparse.
Davis was axed after he lost to Jeremy Stephens via third round knockout on his lightweight debut inside the octagon back at UFC 125 on January 1st. It was a similar story just a few months prior when Nate Diaz submitted him late on in their fight. Stay tuned to MMABay in the coming days for more on “The Irish Hand Grenades” move to the MFC as we get it.
