UFC on Versus 3 – David Branch replaces Alexandre Ferreira against Rousimar Palhares

It appears Renzo Gracie trained, David Branch will be the man to replace Alexandre Ferreira at UFC on Versus 3 on March 3^rd in Louisville, Kentucky, going head-to-head with Brazilian submission specialist, Rousimar Palhares on the main card of the evening.
Sources close to the organization informed Heavy.com of the news on Wednesday morning. Both men are thought to have verbally agreed to the fight.
Branch was last seen in action on “The Ultimate Fighter” season twelve finale show in Las Vegas, earning a unanimous decision win over Rich Attonito on the night. Prior to that he defeated Tomasz Drwal also via unanimous decision.
Palhares is looking to get back to winning ways after losing via first round TKO in controversial fashion. Prior to that the Brazilian had pulled off a string of submission wins including Lucio Linhares and Tomasz Drwal.
