Speaking via ESPN.co.uk, Pearson said:
“The knee’s excellent, everything’s feeling really strong. I was really pleased with how the operation went. I’ve been back in full training for about 10 weeks now. Sometimes I get a niggling pain after training but that’s just natural and it never disturbs me.”
“It’ll be spot-on for my next fight. I saw the physio today and he said, come the next fight, it’ll be 100 per cent. I’ve had a lot of work, a lot of rehab on the tendons, and it’ll be ready.”
Pearson will be looking to get himself back in the winning column when he heads down under after losing to Cole Miller via submission last time out. Prior to that he’d beaten Andre Winner, Aaron Riley and Dennis Siver inside the octagon.
