TUF 13 – Elimination rounds abandoned for this season, show set to start with fourteen fighters

It has tonight been reported that that the forthcoming season of “The Ultimate Fighter” reality show will begin with just fourteen cast members, removing the need for an elimination round in the opening weeks on SPIKE TV as originally expected.
The news comes via MMAJunkie.com who confirmed the news via a source close to the situation adding that the “wild card” selections will remain as a part of the show.
Filming for this season of the show begins later this week, with the first episode set to hit our screens late on in the month of March. This seasons coaches will be former heavyweight champion, Brock Lesnar and current number one contender, Junior dos Santos.
