Once again Scott Coker believes Gina Carano will return to the Strikeforce cage “very soon”

Strikeforce CEO, Scott Coker has once again been predicting an imminent return for female mixed martial arts fighter turned movie star, Gina Carano, saying he believes it will be sometime this year.
Speaking via MMAFighting.com, Coker said:

“I believe she’ll be back in the cage this year. From what I know of her, she is a competitor at heart; she’s going to want to fight. She’s not going to want to end her career the way it ended. So, I think she’ll be back.”

“This girl’s a real fighter. She’s not this actress that became a fighter. She’s a real fighter that became an actress. So that fight is inside her.”

The beauty hasn’t been seen in action since she was destroyed by Brazilian heavy hitter and current 145 pound champion within the Strikeforce ranks, Cris “Cyborg” Santos. Will she return at some point in 2011 or did she have the fight knocked out of her by that savage defeat?
