Anderson Silva says he’d like to fight Michael Bisping in the UK at some point

UFC middleweight champion, Anderson Silva has revealed that he’s love to fight UK stand-out, Michael Bisping in the Brit’s own backyard at some point, something that’s likely to hinge on the next couple of fights for both men inside the octagon.
Speaking via ESPN.co.uk, Silva said:
“Michael Bisping is very impressive. He’s been in the UFC for a long time now and beaten some very good fighters. It would be an honour to fight him, perhaps in England.”
“He is fast, is very busy and makes adjustments quickly. I am the champion of the world, not just Brazil or America. Being a world champion means taking on the best fighters from around the world all over the world. If the chance came I would like to fight Bisping in the UK if that’s what the UFC put together.”
Both men are involved in action next month, with Silva defending his middleweight crown against current number one contender, Vitor Belfort, while Bisping heads to Australia to take on the heavy handed veteran, Jorge Rivera. Stay tuned to MMABay for more build-up to both fights as we get it.
