Curt ‘The War’ Warburton comes armed with a catalogue of notable wins on his 12-3-0 record, most famously against Ross Pearson. Warburton fought three times in the UFC before facing and defeating Tim Newman at BAMMA 8. BAMMA 10 presented Warburton in a World Lightweight title contenders match against Lee Wieczorek, in which he delivered his second BAMMA victory. When World Champion, Rob Sinclair, withdrew injured from their slated BAMMA 12 title bout, Warburton went on to face Steven Ray for the prestigious BAMMA Lonsdale British Lightweight belt to win on decision.

Jake Murphy fights out of Jackson's MMA in the United States, where he trains with some of the sport's brightest stars, including former BAMMA competitors Tom ‘Kong’ Watson and Erik Perez. Coming from a college wrestling background, Murphy holds a record of 6-2-0 and is on a four fight winning streak. This fight marks his second venture into the BAMMA cage: Murphy last appeared at BAMMA 9 alongside team mate, Tom ‘Kong’ Watson, where he put in a dominant performance against David Round. He submitted the Brit via Rear Naked Choke in round 2.
