Jimmy Lennon Jr. and Lenne Hardt Team Up For GLORY 5

Fight fans are in for a double treat when GLORY, the world's new premier kickboxing league, hits ExCel Arena, London, England on Saturday, March 23.

Glory Sports International has today confirmed that Jimmy Lennon Jr. and Lenne Hardt will be announcing the athletes taking part in what is by far the biggest kickboxing event ever staged on British soil.

Lennon Jr. is an iconic figure in the world of fight sports, who has announced 872 world c! hampionship fights during his near 32-year professional career. Such is his stature among the professional boxing fraternity that he has been inducted into the World Boxing Hall of Fame and this year will be inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame.

No less an iconic figure in the martial arts world is Hardt, who was for many years the voice of Japanese Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) behemoth PRIDE FC and its epic events. PRIDE FC was noted for high production standards, equal parts theater and sporting event. Hardt was a key part of it, her spine-tingling, haunting calls accompanying legendary fighters to the ring as they prepared to do battle.

GLORY 5 London will be the first time that Lennon Jr. and Hardt have announced at the same event. Hardt will announce the fighters as they make their way to the ring while Lennon Jr. will handle the pre-fight introductions and post-fight declarations. The two were featured together in! EA Sports' MMA video game title.

In the highly-anticipated heavyweight main event, all-time great and three-time K-1 World Grand Prix tournament champion Remy Bonjasky (77-15, 40 KO's) of Netherlands will take on ferocious, surging superstar Tyrone Spong (68-6-1 42 KO's) of Boca Raton, Fla. via Netherlands.

All GLORY 5 London bouts are comprised of three, three-minute rounds. The complete fight card is as follows:
