Pat Healy talks Melendez roumoured injury.

Strikeforce lightweight number one contender, Pat Healy has been speaking for the first time about Gilbert Melendez  rumoured injury.

Speaking via BJPenn.com, Healy said:
“I just hope that the fight still goes on. Nothing has been confirmed at this point".

Healy has earned his shot at the title with his fifth consecutive win going 8-1 in his last nine fights. The 2 are set to meet at Strikeforce finale January 12th.
