Cris Cyborg waiting for a phone call

It was reported that Strikeforce was shutting down after a grand finale in January, and that Ronda Rousey had been signed as the first female fighter in the UFC. Today Miesha Tate tweeted that she, too, had been signed.
Where that leaves Cris Santos is unknown. The Brazilian is currently serving a suspension for PED usage, was stripped of her featherweight title, and cannot apply for a license until January.
According to Santos, nobody from the UFC has reach out yet, but she remains hopeful.
"I have no news," Cris Santos told Tatame."I think we'll just have to wait until the end of my suspension."

It's unclear if the UFC is targeting Santos, so far the organization has only signed femaile bantemweights. Santos is a featherweight (145) fighter, and has made it clear she can't make the cut down to bantamweight (135).
