CAGE RAGE UK25 THIS WEEKEND

We are days away from Cage Rage UK 25: The Beat Down, December 3rd Live from London’s most versatile arena, The Troxy. The Beat Down will bring the curtain down on what has been an exciting year of Mixed Martial Arts action with all Cage Rage UK events proving why they are regarded as Europe's leading MMA organization.
With 3 fighters pulling out just 5 days before the event Dave O’Donnell was left in an awkward position, but with a roster of over 1000 fighters, Dave was very quick in replacing ALL  3 fighters within the hour Monday morning (28th November).
Cooper OUT Campbell IN
Joe Cooper was due to take on Big Ben Smith this weekend but has been forced out with a fractured hand, taking his place and ready to rumble with Smith, Ricky Campbell.
Campbell from Medway submissions has no doubt that he has what it takes to beat the Ben Smith and Vows to take it to Ben from the off.
Ben Smith has also changed weight class dropping down to the Light Heavyweight division hoping to make his mark and open up the division where the Light Heavyweight title remains vacant.

Machada OUT Craggy IN
Due to an unfortunate training injury, Tony Machada has had to drop from the Cage Rage UK25 card, Machada said “I am real gutted to have had to pull from the card, but some times this happens and it’s something we can’t control, best wishes to Lee”.
Replacing Tony is middleweight prospect Ben Craggy, Craggy who is coming off an emphatic win at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino early November is eager to jump in on the card for the last show of the year.

Another fight changed as another fighter gets injured, Damien Carroll is also forced out of this weekend’s Cage Rage UK event. Carroll has had to with draw from the event with a dislocated shoulder but as fighters drop out another steps in, Peter “Odd Job” Craete steps in, Peter better known as Alex Reid’s former body Guard is looking to make a bold statement this weekend with a quick KO win over Eddie Kone’s prospect, Jason Radcliffe.

Headlining the event will be Denniston Sutherland, who defends his Middleweight title for the first time against Jake Bostwick. The two previously met in February 2010, when Bostwick won by split decision, much to the dismay of Sutherland and the fans in attendance. Since that night, Sutherland has finished three of his previous five wins and will be eager to carry on that impressive run of not leaving his fate in the hands of the judges.
The K1 Middleweight title will also be on the line as Mark Weir defends his crown against Louis King. Weir lost the Middleweight title to Denniston Sutherland in June and will be doing everything in his power not to lose his K1 crown. However, King has been knocking opponents out left right and centre in the cage this year and is currently one of the most exciting fighters at Cage Rage UK and will be a stern test for Weir.
Welshman, Chris Harman steps up to the Heavyweight division looking to take out the Shark, Mark Potter as he faces off for the vacant Heavyweight K1 Title, both fighters have iron fist as Potter has previously shown in his other Cage Rage fights as well as in a previous boxing match Knockout out American Star, Butterbean.
Flying all the way from South Africa, Brendon Katz who takes on the Turkish Snake, Huseyin Garabet in a featherweight clash that will have the crowed on their feet. Garabet who is on a 2 fight losing streak is looking to get his fighting career back on track by taking out his opponent with a huge KO and finish 2011 off with a bang.
Also on the card will be exciting prospects Wendle Lewis and Iain Martell who have their eyes firmly on the vacated titles in the Welterweight and Light heavyweight divisions respectively. Also making his début on the show will be Bantamweight Nathan Greyson. The Surgeon is a product of the Lions Pride MMA and shown his impressive skill set at WCMMA.
