Charles Oliveira declines to fight again this year, decides giving his body a rest is the best move for now

UFC featherweight wizz-kid, Charles Oliveira has revealed that he’s decided to sit it out for the rest of the year and give his body a bit of a break from life inside the octagon, adding time is on his side as he’s still a young fighter.
Speaking via Tatame Magazine, Oliveira said:

“I have the same spirit, but when it happens it’s really hard on us, you get upset, it’s another loss on your record, but thanks’ God, the Fertitta brothers and Dana White really like me. I’m a young guy, it’s like the commentator said: I’m still a child, I’m 21 years old, I’m not in a hurry. My goal is the belt, but until then I’ll have to fight many lions who cross my way and make a step at a time.”
I don’t know who it’d be (next), nobody knows, if I said yes, they’d tell me who I’d be fighting against. I didn’t wanna know, I rather take this time off, take some days off… I’m going to Avare, where I have my horse, and I can relax along with my girlfriend and my family and give my body some rest because it still hurts, I want to be 100% next time.”

Oliveira will be dropping to the featherweight division for his next fight inside the octagon after coming up short last time out when he faced former WEC title contender, Donald Cerrone just a couple of months ago
