UFC 133 medical suspensions and injuries for 'Evans vs Ortiz 2'

The Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission (PSAC) today issued its list of medical suspensions for UFC 133: "Evans vs. Ortiz 2," which took place on Saturday, August 6, 2011, from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
With several of the bouts ending early (and violently), there were a handful of fighters who were flagged follow-up visits with their doctors.
Chief among them is Yoshihiro Akiyama, who is riding the bench for 60 days after having his brains scrambled by Vitor Belfort in the night's co-main event. "Sexyama" must also undergo a neurological exam to make sure his plugs are still firing prior to his return.
Brazilian middleweight Rafael Natal doesn't yet have the luxury of a return date after the commission yanked him from active competition due to a malfunctioning right hand. "Sapo" will need a doctor to green-light him if he hopes to ever show his face 'round these parts again.
But that's not all.

Tito Ortiz: Suspended 45 days (precautionary reasons)
Yoshihiro Akiyama: Suspended 60 days (possible head injuries); must undergo neurological exam
Dennis Hallman: Suspended 45 days (precautionary reasons)
Mike Pyle: Suspended 45 days (precautionary reasons)
Matt Hamill: Suspended 45 days (precautionary reasons)
Rafael Natal: Suspended indefinitely (right hand injury); must be cleared by a physician
Paul Bradley: Suspended 30 days (left knee injury); must be cleared by a physician

Just a quick reminder: Fighters often return to action much quicker once doctors give them the green light. The lengthy suspensions are just a precaution in most cases
