UFC middleweight contender, Chael Sonnen has gone back on the offensive this week when it comes to those Brazilian fighters who have up sticks and left the South American country, adding he feels sorry for those fans who have been “abandoned” by their heroes. Speaking via Fighters Only Magazine, Sonnen said:
“I wish to fight with several Brazilian fighters. Not against the fighters who are concerned about Brazil, but with the fighters who abandoned Brazil, such Wanderlei Silva for example. He says he is Brazilian but lives in a private condominium in Las Vegas. He left you, [Brazil,] abandoned you and now lives in the United States.”
“Anderson Silva loves to praise Brazil but he spent two million dollars on a mansion in Los Angeles. I feel for the Brazilians because their heroes left them.”
