"I let my fighting speak for itself. I go in there and fight my butt off and if the UFC brass see fit to give me a title shot, which I'm really hoping they do, so be it. ... I would like to stay a little bit more busy. I'm not sure if I want to wait (for the result of Georges St. Pierre vs. Nick Diaz in October). If I got a title shot, it probably wouldn't be until the end of the year or maybe early next year. That's a long time."-- The list of top contenders in the welterweight division isn't exactly brimming with talent that has yet to get decimated by champion of the weight class, Georges St. Pierre. One of those men, Carlos Condit, punched his ticket to the big time by flying through the air at the MGM Grand Garden Arena and connecting a mega-knee straight to Dong Hyun Kim's face. The follow up ground-n-pound was just icing on the cake and the necessary rub to earn him "Knockout of the Night" honors on a card full of explosive finishes. Still, it might not be enough to earn him a title shot and even if it is, "The Natural Born Killer" isn't sure he wants to wait all the way until Oct. 29 to figure out who he would be taking on.
