Brett Rogers pleads his innocence following arrest for domestic violence last month

Former Strikeforce heavyweight slugger, Brett Rogers has today pleaded his innocence following his arrest last month for domestic violence and is also confident that the truth will out and prove his me is not guilty.
A statement released by his representatives,

Mohammad & Jaafar-Mohammad LLC, read:
“As in all criminal matters, Mr. Rogers is presumed innocent until and if he is proven guilty. Mr. Rogers asserts his innocence in this matter and is confident that the facts of what happened will vindicate his assertion of innocence.”
“Mr. Rogers has never been charged with any domestic related incidents or assault offenses. He is a caring and loving husband and father that has recently found success as a heavyweight mixed martial arts fighter. We urge all media and interested individuals to withhold judgment as to what occurred during this incident.”
Rogers was sensationally fired just hours after the news broke by UFC President, Dana White, who made it clear there was no place under the Zuffa LLC. banner for fighters who conduct themselves like this behind closed doors. Stay tuned to MMABay for more news on this as we get it.
