UFC 131: Krzysztof Soszynski vs Igor Pokrajac booked for June 11 with Anthony Perosh injured

The hits just keep on coming.
An injury to Anthony Perosh has forced a reshuffling of the upcoming UFC 131: "Lesnar vs. Dos Santos" event on June 11 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. His scheduled opponent, Krzysztof Soszynski, will now take on Igor Pokrajac.
The promotion announced the switch earlier this evening.
Soszynski will enter the fight on the heels of his unanimous decision win over Goran Reljic at UFC 122 back on Nov. 22, 2010.
That win came after two somewhat shaky performances against Stephan Bonnar, one of which "The Polish Experiment" won by way of cut due to an accidental headbutt. In the rematch, "The American Psycho" took it to the Ultimate Fighter vet, finishing him in the second round.
Winning "Fight of the Night" may have softened the blow but it was his second loss in three fights. He righted the ship a bit with the Reljic win, which sent the Croatian straight to the unemployment line, but is he ready to make a push to contendership in the crowded 205-pound division?

Standing in his way is Pokrajac (22-7), who rebounded from consecutive losses when he choked out free-falling veteran James Irvin at the UFC on Versus 2 event in San Diego.
It was his first win under the UFC banner after racking up eight straight W's overseas.
He fell back off the horse, however, in his very next outing, a unanimous decision loss to Stephan Bonnar at the Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale this past December in Las Vegas. An opening round technical knockout win over Todd Brown on March 3 got him back on the hog.
No question that stopping Soszynski could be a one-way ticket to bigger and better things in 2011.
UFC 131: "Lesnar vs. Dos Santos" will feature former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar, as he tries to eliminate opposing Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 13 coach Junior dos Santos from the division title chase.
The winner is expected to face reigning champion Cain Velasquez later this year.
Also booked for "Hollywood North" is former division number one contender and Interim title holder Shane Carwin, who returns from the injured reserves to welcome submission ace Jon Olav Einemo to the Octagon in the Abu Dhabi champ's UFC debut.
