I don't want to go out and rip his head off and hurt him or anything like that. No way. The Nogueira brothers are a class act. We're both going to make some money, hopefully get that Fight of the Night, and that's about it."

But here he is now, on the biggest stage the sport has to offer, taking on a very experienced, crafty and well-traveled 23-fight veteran. And he's not going to manufacture beef or resort to mind games to get the job done, approaching the light heavyweight showdown with a level head and total respect for his former training partner. That might be the noble thing to do, but does Davis need a few more fights under his belt to understand the value of fight promotion -- real or fake -- like "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" or will you watch the Spike TV broadcast no matter what?
