Brandon Vera was unceremoniously dumped by the UFC after his three round beatdown at the hands of Thiago Silva back on Jan. 1 at the "Edgar vs. Maynard 2" event. The Brazilian's strong performance earned him a crack at "Rampage" Jackson and sent his counterpart to the hospital with a broken nose, pink slip in hand.
According to FiveOuncesofPain.com, among other news outlets, he might be on his way back.
That's because Silva may (or may not) have had the aid of some chemical courage heading into their light heavyweight bout.
And if the urine sample comes back from the lab with abnormalities, Vera just may be granted new life with the world's largest fight promotion.
Of course, results of the urine analysis are still pending and it should be noted that nothing is official at this time. But if true, is the UFC making the right decision in giving Vera another chance?
