GLORY 10: 'Los Angeles' middleweight tournament announced for Sept. 28

GLORY, the world's premier kickboxing league, today announced that it will bring its championship-level fight series to the West Coast with a stacked fight card that includes a one-night, four-man, Middleweight (187 lbs/85 kg) World Championship Tournament and eight Superfight match-ups, live from the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, Calif. on Saturday, September 28th.

The elimination World Championship Tournament will see an international mix of some of the best Middleweight fighters on the planet, including #1 ranked contender Artem "The Lion" Levin (69-5-1, 31 KOs) of Russia, the pride of England Stephen "The Surgeon" Wakeling (37-4-1, 15 KOs), hometown favorite Joe Schilling (13-5, 10 KOs), and from the Netherlands, Jason Wilnis (19-2-1, 4 KOs). To win the one-night tournament and earn the Glory Middleweight World Championship, these fighters will have to fight and win twice.

Headlining Glory 10 is a Heavyweight match-up between Pride and Strikeforce MMA star Sergei Kharitonov (19-5, 9 KOs MMA/3-3, 3 KOs Kickboxing) and southpaw knock out artist Jérôme Le Banner (75-21, 60 KOs).

The co-main event will feature fast paced Lightweight (154lbs/70kg) action as world #2 contender Robin van Roosmalen (29-5, 19 KOs) tests himself against the heavy hands of Swiss striker Shemsi Beqiri (72-8, 31 KOs).
