Andrei Arlovski’s manager hits back at the critics who think it’s time for him to hang up his gloves for good

Leo Khorlinsky, the manager of former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski, has hit back angrily at the critics saying “The Pitbull’s” career is over following a string of knockout losses under the Strikeforce banner, asking if that is the case why would someone like Greg Jackson waste his time with him?
Speaking via FC Fighter, Khorlinsky said:
“I don’t think much of these critics. I’m very skeptical of what they say because the minute you’re on top, they’re your biggest advocate, and the minute you fall down they become your critics. To me these people don’t really mean much you know? You can talk about chins, you can talk about that, but I haven’t seen a single person to date who could take a punch right on the chin and not go down. Everybody goes down. He’s not ready to hang it up. Obviously these world famous trainers like Greg Jackson see something that these critics don’t see, as otherwise why would they be wasting their time with Andrei?”
Arlovski is set to headline the forthcoming ProElite event in Hawaii as the promotion looks to re-establish itself for the first time since 2008 when EliteXC went under due to the farce surrounding “Kimbo Slice”. The big question though is Arlovski a spent force in the mixed martial arts world due to these knockout losses against fighters known for their knockout power or is it simply a case of his opponents doing what their good at?
